陈飞，1983年出生于山西洪洞，毕业于北京电影学院，现工作生活于北京。他的创作主要涉及架上绘画，通过“肖像”这一明线与“静物”这一暗线如实映照了处于全球化与多元化世界中的中国现状。如何在剧变的现实中自知、自立、自治成为其绘画发问的源头，“群己权界”贯穿其创作始终。美术上，他通过肖像与静物的等量齐观、东西绘画中的空间对照、电影分镜与画面构设的互文以及丙烯对不同材质的戏拟，完成了当代绘画对“美人之美，美美与共”的新回答。内核上，则通过对“丰裕”与“差异”的具象直指艺术创作与社会现实中的各项问题。地缘、政治与社会关怀被揉杂在人与物的交替中，投射着现代公民对社会现状的关切与疑问。画家借由绘画发问中国美术与中国文化的未来，肩负起了史记员的使命。
Chen Fei, born in 1983 in Hongdong, Shanxi, graduated from the Beijing Film Academy, and currently works and lives in Beijing. His work primarily involves easel painting, and through the explicit thread of “portrait” and the implicit thread of “still life,” it faithfully reflects the current state of China within a globalized and diversified world. How to achieve self-awareness, self-reliance, and self-governance in a rapidly changing reality is the source of inquiry in his painting, and the “boundary between the self and the group” runs throughout his creative practice.
