Fu Meijun is a Chinese contemporary artist whose creative trajectory and exhibition history are primarily concentrated in the early 2010s. In 2009, he participated in the First Yunnan Province University Students’ Culture and Art Festival held at the Art Museum of Yunnan Arts University. In 2012, his works were shown in the exhibition “A Broken Mirror Made Whole” at TCG Nordica in Kunming and in the Kunming “Opening the Future” Nomination Exhibition. In 2013, Fu Meijun appeared in the 7th National Recommendation Exhibition for Young and Middle-Aged Artists at the Shanghai Mingyuan Art Museum, as well as the “Warm Spring” exhibition at Kuangyu Gallery in Kunming. In 2014, he took part in the New Star Art Festival at the Today Art Museum in Beijing and the SURGE ART Beijing event. These exhibition records constitute the main trajectory of his early artistic practice.
