简介Biography
简策（JIAN Ce），1984年出生于中国山东济南，1988年移居德国。2002年至2008年就读于柏林艺术大学美术系，师从Georg Baselitz、Daniel Richter和Robert Lucander，并以大师生身份毕业。2006年至2007年，凭借Erasmus奖学金留学于英国伦敦大学金史密斯学院。2003年至2009年，先后在柏林洪堡大学攻读艺术史与哲学专业，并在柏林自由大学攻读东亚艺术史专业，获得硕士学位。2017年，获得洪堡大学艺术与图像史博士学位。简策现工作生活于德国柏林与中国北京。其创作观念常围绕图像与真实的关系展开，个展包括2010年在北京空白空间举办的“真相＝假象”、在柏林Läkemäker画廊举办的“1 für ALLE”及在上海安杰当代艺术画廊举办的“马可•波罗：旅行指南”，2009年在斯洛文尼亚Contra画廊举办的“Ce Jian”，以及2008年在柏林Läkemäker画廊举办的“Wie Sie sehen...”。联展经历涵盖2011年德国埃森麦卡托基金会的“DAS ICH IM ANDEREN”、2010年斯洛文尼亚Contra画廊的“New Spirit of Painting”及柏林The Forgotten Bar的“The Best of Dimension 5”、2009年柏林Galerie Parterre的“Prolog 4素描展”与斯图加特Galerie Z的“Besuch aus Berlin”、2008年Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock文化馆的“30 gegen 3000000. JIAN Ce, born in 1984 in Jinan, Shandong, China, moved to Germany in 1988. From 2002 to 2008, JIAN Ce studied at the Fine Arts Department of the Berlin University of the Arts under Georg Baselitz, Daniel Richter, and Robert Lucander, graduating as a Meisterschüler. From 2006 to 2007, with an Erasmus scholarship, studied at Goldsmiths, University of London, UK. Between 2003 and 2009, pursued studies in Art History and Philosophy at Humboldt University of Berlin and in East Asian Art History at the Free University of Berlin, earning a master's degree. In 2017, received a doctorate in Art and Image History from Humboldt University. JIAN Ce currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany and Beijing, China. The artistic concepts often revolve around the relationship between image and reality. Solo exhibitions include "Truth = Illusion" at White Space Beijing in 2010, "1 für ALLE" at Galerie Läkemäker in Berlin, "Marco Polo: Travel Guide" at Andrew James Art in Shanghai, "Ce Jian" at Contra Gallery in Slovenia in 2009, and "Wie Sie sehen..." at Galerie Läkemäker in Berlin in 2008. Group exhibitions encompass "DAS ICH IM ANDEREN" at the Mercator Foundation in Essen, Germany in 2011, "New Spirit of Painting" at Contra Gallery in Slovenia and "The Best of Dimension 5" at The Forgotten Bar in Berlin in 2010, "Prolog 4 Drawing Exhibition" at Galerie Parterre in Berlin and "Besuch aus Berlin" at Galerie Z in Stuttgart in 2009, "30 gegen 3000000. Skulptur und Malerei aus Berlin" at Kulturhaus Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock and "Plötzlich, the class exhibition of Professors Lucander/Liebmann" at Uferhallen in Berlin in 2008, as well as group exhibitions between 2007 and 2003 in Germany, China, Japan, South Korea, and other places.
