- The *Fleet* series (2017–2018), multiple canvases employing acrylic, paint, marker, chalk, and crayon
**Creative Style:**
Archivally, her work is categorized under genres such as abstract art, experimental approaches, spatial architecture, and conceptual art. She frequently employs mixed media on canvas—acrylic paint combined with spray paint, markers, chalk, crayon, and occasionally digital elements like inkjet prints. Her thematic concerns center on abstraction, urban landscapes, memory and temporality, identity, and materiality.
Contextually, this stylistic hybridity plays out in series like *New Folks*, where oversized, distorted figures evoke the “other” body—shaped by role, culture, and gender. These works reference traditional iconographies of social status while adopting a modern, sometimes grotesque portraiture reminiscent of the Elephant Man. The result is a striking tension between anonymity and recognition, the alien and the familiar, offering a utopian vision of post-human entities that also reflects contemporary anxieties around migration, identity, and the foreign.
