李易纹
简介Biography

Li Yi Wen is a contemporary Chinese artist born in 1982 in Luoyang, Henan. He works primarily in painting, and his practice is characterized by a sustained interest in time, space, and temporality. His creative style draws on personal memories and present experiences that interpenetrate and accumulate as sources of inspiration. Using a postmodern approach, he filters, selects, and elevates images, incorporating illogical, fictional, displaced, and intuitive elements into his compositions. In doing so, he subverts conventional painterly narratives and generates new pictorial meanings.
