简介Biography
朱丽晴（Liane Chu）1997年出生于中国香港，先后获得香港城市大学传播与新媒体学士学位和中央美术学院实验艺术与科技艺术硕士学位，研究方向为总体艺术与跨界研究，现于上海工作生活。她以架上绘画、装置及雕塑等多元材料作为艺术语言，作品不仅是反映她与妥瑞氏症经历的个人叙事，同时也挑战社会对“正常”和“异常”界限的图景；每一笔都成为一种宣泄，体现了她对自我疗愈和自我表达的信念。朱丽晴试图走出二元分化的路径，旨在生活的混沌中找到希望和宁静。在她的超现实主义风景画中，她探讨了人类对养分的依赖如同树木：营养物质维持着我们，有害物质则可能导致腐烂；同时，她强调了媒体在都市生活中的普遍影响，探索了我们与电子科技的互动如何潜移默化地塑造着我们的存在。作品曾在广州K11艺术中心（2024）、上海震旦博物馆（2023）、广州溯榭映美术馆（2022）、香港K11艺术文化中心（2022）等机构展出，并被震旦博物馆、良壤集团、国泰航空等机构收藏。
Liane Chu, born in 1997 in Hong Kong, China, received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and New Media from City University of Hong Kong and a Master’s degree in Experimental Art and Technological Art from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, with a research focus on Total Art and cross-disciplinary studies. She currently lives and works in Shanghai. Employing diverse materials such as easel painting, installation, and sculpture as her artistic language, her works serve not only as personal narratives reflecting her experience with Tourette syndrome but also as challenges to the social delineation between “normal” and “abnormal.” Each brushstroke becomes a form of catharsis, embodying her belief in self-healing and self-expression. Chu seeks to move beyond binary divisions, aiming to find hope and tranquility amid the chaos of life.
In her surrealist landscape paintings, she explores humanity’s dependence on nutrients, likening it to trees: nourishing substances sustain us, while harmful ones may lead to decay. At the same time, she highlights the pervasive influence of media in urban life, investigating how our interactions with electronic technology imperceptibly shape our existence. Her works have been exhibited at venues including K11 Art Centre, Guangzhou (2024); Aurora Museum, Shanghai (2023); Sushuying Art Museum, Guangzhou (2022); and K11 Art and Cultural Centre, Hong Kong (2022). They are held in collections such as the Aurora Museum, Liang Nang Group, and Cathay Pacific.
