刘志成
简介Biography
刘志成（1992年出生），2010年本科毕业于中国美术学院雕塑系，2017年参与德国汉堡美术学院工作坊项目，2018年研究生毕业于中国美术学院油画系，现为绿手实验（Green Hand Lab）发起人，工作生活于杭州。他的作品主要以绘画的形式探讨当代人与物象在虚拟空间中的异化式日常以及科技附魅后的新神秘主义特质，重新思考事物的图像化定义以及在绘画中指涉的当下含义。作品被上海星美术馆、北京x美术馆、广东当代艺术基金会、中国国家博物馆等机构收藏。2020年，其作品曾参加“故事”系列第二篇“夜未央”群展，于上海MO GALLERY展出。
Liu Zhi Cheng (b. 1992) graduated from the Sculpture Department of the China Academy of Art with a bachelor's degree in 2010, participated in a workshop project at the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg in 2017, and graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the China Academy of Art with a master's degree in 2018. He is currently the initiator of Green Hand Lab, and lives and works in Hangzhou. His works, primarily through the medium of painting, explore the alienated daily existence of contemporary people and objects within virtual space, as well as the neo-mystical qualities that emerge after technological enchantment, re-examining the pictorial definition of things and the present meanings they signify in painting. His works are held in the collections of institutions including the Shanghai Star Museum, Beijing X Museum, Guangdong Contemporary Art Foundation, and the National Museum of China. In 2020, his works participated in the group exhibition “Story” Series Part II “夜未央” (Ye Wei Yang), presented at MO GALLERY in Shanghai.

His creative style primarily uses painting to investigate the alienated everyday life of contemporary people and objects within virtual space, as well as the new-mystical qualities that arise after technology is re-enchanted. He re-examines how things are defined as images and how those definitions gain meaning in current painterly discourse.
