孟庆隽（Meng Qingjun），1997年出生于哈尔滨市，2022年硕士毕业于中央美术学院，获硕士学位，现工作、生活于北京。他将时序性视为绘画创作里的核心问题，通过提炼汉字书法中的时序性（笔顺），假借立体主义的视角探索漫画分镜里的时序性（阅读顺序），形成一种以时序性为主导的仪式感观看，最终通过画面将这种时序性再现以追求绘画的写意。孟庆隽在生活中以近乎开启仪式的方式去贯彻时序性的观看，人物、静物、风景等不同主题在仪式观看下被视作同样的仪式祭品以唤起灵性。这种被观看唤起的灵性正是他绘画创作的养料，有如书写一样将这些灵性记录在画布上，记录每一次仪式观看也正是他执笔的根源。
Meng Qingjun (b. 1997, Harbin) received his master’s degree from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2022 and currently lives and works in Beijing. He regards temporality (sequentiality) as the core issue in painting. By distilling the temporal sequence inherent in Chinese calligraphy (stroke order) and borrowing a Cubist perspective to explore the temporal sequence of comic panels (reading order), he develops a ritualized mode of viewing governed by sequentiality, which he then reproduces on the picture plane in pursuit of the xieyi (freehand expressiveness) of painting. In daily life, Meng implements this sequential viewing almost as a ceremonial act; under such ritualistic observation, figures, still lifes, landscapes—all subjects—are treated alike as ritual offerings to awaken spiritual vitality.
