唐明伟

Tang Mingwei, born in 1985 in Dazhu County, Sichuan Province, graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2008. He currently lives and works in Shenzhen. He has long engaged in the exploration and creation of abstract art, presenting his work primarily through geometric abstraction, which has drawn close attention from major art institutions and curators both at home and abroad. His solo exhibitions include “Rule and Square – Tang Mingwei Solo Exhibition” (Sense Art Space, Chongqing, 2007), “Advancing Geometric Abstraction – Tang Mingwei Solo Exhibition” (Graffiti Street Gallery, Chongqing, 2010), “The Pregnant Moment – Tang Mingwei Solo Exhibition” (Lao Ma Tou · No. 2 Warehouse ART SPACE, Shanghai, 2016), “Concretized Logic – Tang Mingwei Geometric Abstraction Solo Exhibition” (Wang Art Gallery, Shenzhen, 2019), the dual-artist project “War and Peace” with Zhu Jixiang (Hengman Gallery, Chengdu, 2019), and “Game of Order – Tang Mingwei and Li Jiliang Duo Exhibition” (Odin Gallery, Shanghai, 2021).
