Wang Fan Seng, formerly known as Wang Tianxuan, was born in Dalian, Liaoning Province in 1984. In 2002, his poem “Untitled” was published in the supplement of People’s Literature, issue 3, 2002. In 2008, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts with a Bachelor of Arts degree. His practice unfolds through solo and group exhibitions. Solo exhibitions include “Qi Xie Shan Zhi” at Beijing Art Seasons Gallery in 2012, “Qi Xie Shan Zhi” at Singapore Art Seasons Gallery and a solo project at Taipei Art Fair in 2013, and “Mustard Seed and Mount Sumeru” at Longkou Space, 798, Beijing in 2016.
