简介Biography
王源远（1986年生于浙江省丽水市），2010年本科毕业于中国美术学院油画系第三工作室，获学士学位；2013年研究生毕业于同校同工作室，获硕士学位。现工作生活于杭州。其创作观念复杂而多元，认为艺术是夏日的微风、沙滩的落日、林间的曲径、夜幕下的灯火，也是喜怒哀乐与白日梦。作品涵盖从平静到激荡的情绪，如平地惊雷与雨润宝树。他通过绘画回溯历史与理想家园，视艺术为连接过去与记忆的媒介。
idea of reincarnation. Technically, I have always felt like a sponge, an artist who is able to absorb and pick up the strengths of various schools of thought, paints across historical texts and incorporates imagination as well. At least, I enjoy this sense of richness. My creation is always interspersed with different series, rather than repeating the same subject matter all the time. Although the subject matter varies a little, there are still some interspersions and transitions in the way of expression. I think everything can be used and mobilized to serve my creation, such as martial arts novels, electronic music, cult movies, advertising illustrations, ukiyo-e, and comics. All these art disciplines that I am interested in will serve as my nourishment. But sometimes there is a problem. I do not pursue a deep understanding or engage in textual research.
