简介Biography
邹文琪（b.1999）2017年毕业于湖北美术学院公共艺术专业，获艺术学士学位；2019年毕业于韩国弘益大学纯艺术专业，获艺术学士学位；2021年于英国皇家艺术学院获研究型硕士学位（MRes Fine Art & Humanities）。2023年起于爱丁堡大学攻读设计学博士学位，同时在该校未来学院担任影像与媒体类课程讲师。她的实践涵盖雕塑、影像等多媒介，结合古典文本、民族志研究与身体经验，试图重新想象疾病、记忆与疗愈的叙事方式及其感知结构。她的人文研究关注疾病如何参与个体身份的形成、与文化结构发生互动，以及如何重构个人与世界的关系。其当前创作从巫术与民间传说中被遗忘的物品与方法中汲取灵感，将其重新置入当代医学语境，尝试构建女性能量的开放性生成空间，唤起被污名化的非传统疗愈方式与实践。
Wenqi Zou (b. 1999) graduated from Hubei Institute of Fine Arts with a B.A. in Public Art in 2017; from Hongik University, South Korea, with a B.A. in Fine Art in 2019; and received a research Master’s degree (MRes Fine Art & Humanities) from the Royal College of Art, UK, in 2021. Since 2023, she has been pursuing a PhD in Design at the University of Edinburgh, while also teaching image and media courses at the university’s Edinburgh Futures Institute.
Her practice spans sculpture, video, and other media, integrating classical texts, ethnographic research, and bodily experience to reimagine the narrative modes and perceptual structures of illness, memory, and healing. Her humanities research focuses on how illness participates in the formation of individual identity, interacts with cultural structures, and reconstructs one’s relationship with the world. Her current work draws inspiration from forgotten objects and methods in witchcraft and folklore, re-situating them within contemporary medical contexts to construct an open generative space for feminine energy and to evoke stigmatised, non-traditional healing modalities and practices.
