吴凌昊，1997年出生于福建福州，2020年本科毕业于天津美术学院油画系。现生活于上海、福州。他的创作关注个体在时代中的处境，将个人经验与宏大叙事结合，以东亚“压缩现代性”为起点，从个体与家庭、肉身与城市、日常与历史的幽灵中汲取灵感，通过记忆与想象的勾连，使仪式成为重新连接个体的方式，让过去、现在、未来在作品中互相角力。其作品不刻意生产庞大的文本语境，而是以幼稚且直接的状态切入画面，追求情绪与形式的准确对应，并通过挪用并修改图像的方式，产生一种介于对话和深刻感受之间的微妙状态。2025年，他获评时尚芭莎艺术「年度最值得关注的95后艺术家」。
Wu Ling Hao, born in 1997 in Fuzhou, Fujian, received his BFA from the Oil Painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 2020. He currently lives in Shanghai and Fuzhou. His practice focuses on the individual's condition within the era, combining personal experience with grand narratives. Taking East Asian "compressed modernity" as a point of departure, he draws inspiration from the individual and family, the body and the city, and the ghosts of the everyday and history. Through the interweaving of memory and imagination, ritual becomes a means of reconnecting the individual, allowing past, present, and future to wrestle with one another in his works. His works do not deliberately produce vast textual contexts; instead, they approach the pictorial surface with a naive and direct attitude, seeking a precise correspondence between emotion and form. By appropriating and modifying images, he generates a subtle state that lies between dialogue and profound feeling. In 2025, he was named Harper's BAZAAR Art's "Annual Post-95 Artist Most Worthy of Attention."

Through the linkage of memory and imagination, he turns ritual into a way of reconnecting the individual, allowing past, present, and future to wrestle within the work. Rather than constructing an elaborate textual context, he enters the picture in a naïve and direct state, pursuing a precise correspondence between emotion and form.
