刘溪（Xi LIU），当代艺术家。其近期创作聚焦公共空间与私人环境之间的弛放关系，探讨人造物件作为工具与感性载体时，其公众性与私密性界限如何受所处场域暗示。艺术家以物质之间主动生成与被动受扰的事件进程、非线性时空的叠加为线索，类比人际关系中势能交流可能带来的坍缩、神游与爆破。通过在画布上编排物质的精神活动轨迹，刘溪的作品不断揭示看似居于同一物理世界中的个体之间部分独立与局部交叉的经验线，及其恒常变化的积极面。2025年，刘溪在伯年艺术空间举办个展“忘了吗？我们一起唱过歌”，由林雨扬策展，展出其2025年的最新绘画作品。
Xi LIU is a contemporary artist. The artist’s recent practice focuses on the relaxed relationship between public space and private environments, exploring how, when man-made objects serve as tools and emotive carriers, the boundary between their publicness and intimacy is suggested by the surrounding field. Taking as clues the event processes of active generation and passive disturbance among materials and the superimposition of non-linear spacetime, the artist draws an analogy with the collapses, reveries, and detonations that the exchange of potential energy in interpersonal relationships may bring. By orchestrating on the canvas the traces of matter’s spiritual activity, Liu’s works continuously reveal the partially independent and partially intersecting lines of experience among individuals who seemingly inhabit the same physical world, as well as the positive aspects of their constant change. In 2025, Xi LIU held a solo exhibition “Have You Forgotten? We Sang Together” at Bonian Art Space, curated by Lin Yuyang, presenting the artist’s latest paintings from 2025.
