简介Biography

Xu Suyi’s paintings treat space, interior environments, and architecture as meditative points of departure, gradually unfolding into an exploration of light and fields of colour; she introduces historical references and distinct symbolic elements, relying on introspective contemplation rather than direct observation. Her work has been widely exhibited in the United States, Europe, and Asia, including the solo exhibitions *All that is Solid Melts into Air* (Fou Gallery, New York, 2022, her first solo exhibition), *Free Fall* (Europa Gallery, New York, 2024), *Apparitions* (Mamoth Gallery, London, 2024), and a 2025 solo project at the Independent Art Fair with Europa Gallery, New York.
