简介Biography
尤勇，1988年9月生于浙江温州，2008年毕业于中央美院附中，2012年毕业于中央美术学院油画系第三工作室，2021届中国艺术研究院博士研究生，现生活工作于北京。他拥有完整的学院体系教育背景，从央美附中、中央美院到中国艺术研究院杨飞云的博士生，画风扎实，兼具良好的绘画训练基础和独特敏锐的绘画感觉。尤勇的绘画蕴含古典精神又不失当下的鲜活，生动内秀的笔触色彩与温厚达雅的气韵性情完美糅合。在绘画边界无限拓展的当下，他善于思辨，有独立的眼光和内在的勇气，专注积累，不拘泥一隅，在不断反思的实践中走出了自己的绘画道路。其近年展览包括：“尤勇个展”（当代唐人艺术中心，北京，2022）；“中国艺术研究院油画院学术邀请展”（浙江展览馆，杭州，2021）；“中国艺术研究院教学成果展”（中国国家博物馆，北京，2019）；“西去东来--中国油画院意大利、法国写生作品展”（中国艺术研究院油画院，北京，2019）；“学而时习--尤勇个展”（中国艺术研究院油画院，北京，2019）；“超越语言--具象绘画在中国”（MEAM现代艺术博物馆，西班牙巴塞罗那，2019）等。作品也展出于中国美术馆、清华美院展览馆、江西省美术馆、岭南美术馆、漳州市美术馆、内蒙古美术馆、包头美术馆、鄂尔多斯亚洲艺术节等。
You Yong, born in September 1988 in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, graduated from the Affiliated High School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2008 and from the Third Studio of the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. He was a 2021 cohort doctoral candidate at the Chinese National Academy of Arts, and currently lives and works in Beijing. He has a complete academic training background, from the Affiliated High School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Central Academy of Fine Arts to doctoral studies under Yang Feiyun at the Chinese National Academy of Arts. His painting style is solid, combining a sound foundation in painting training with a unique and keen painterly sensibility. You Yong’s paintings embody a classical spirit while retaining the vividness of the present, perfectly fusing lively and refined brushwork and colours with a gentle, sincere, and elegant temperament. In an era when the boundaries of painting are constantly expanding, he is adept at critical thinking, possesses an independent vision and inner courage, focuses on accumulation, is not confined to a single approach, and has carved out his own painting path through continuous reflective practice.
His recent exhibitions include: *You Yong Solo Exhibition* (Tang Contemporary Art, Beijing, 2022); *Academic Invitation Exhibition of the Oil Painting Institute of the Chinese National Academy of Arts* (Zhejiang Exhibition Hall, Hangzhou, 2021); *Teaching Achievements Exhibition of the Chinese National Academy of Arts* (National Museum of China, Beijing, 2019); *West to East – Italian and French Sketching Works Exhibition of the Chinese Oil Painting Institute* (Oil Painting Institute of the Chinese National Academy of Arts, Beijing, 2019); *Learn and Practise Regularly – You Yong Solo Exhibition* (Oil Painting Institute of the Chinese National Academy of Arts, Beijing, 2019); and *Beyond Language – Figurative Painting in China* (MEAM, European Museum of Modern Art, Barcelona, Spain, 2019), among others. His works have also been exhibited at the National Art Museum of China, the Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, Jiangxi Art Museum, Lingnan Art Museum, Zhangzhou Art Museum, Inner Mongolia Art Museum, Baotou Art Museum, and the Ordos Asia Arts Festival, among other venues.
