余曾巧（Yuna Yu，b.1997）2020年本科毕业于伦敦中央圣马丁艺术设计学院纯艺专业，2025年研究生毕业于伦敦皇家艺术学院绘画专业，现工作生活于伦敦。自十四岁起，她先后在多伦多、北京、伦敦等地求学与生活，跨地域的成长经历使其未形成单一文化认同，而是在不断位移中塑造出独特的流动性主体。她以神话母题、中古旧物、历史档案为媒介，将个体记忆与人类历史的集体意识缝合交融，形成既含东方文化底色、又具世界公民视角的图像语言。基于对全球化语境下身份模糊与复杂性缺失的切身感受，她将“位移”作为创作方法，对不同文化语境的触感转化使其作品展现出延展、游离的视觉特征。
Yuna Yu (b.1997) received her BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London in 2020, and her MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art, London in 2025. She currently lives and works in London. Since the age of fourteen, she has studied and lived successively in Toronto, Beijing, London, and other places. This cross-regional upbringing did not lead to the formation of a single cultural identity; rather, through constant displacement, she has developed a distinct, fluid subjectivity. Using mythological motifs, medieval antiquities, and historical archives as her medium, she sutures individual memory with the collective consciousness of human history, forging a pictorial language imbued with an Eastern cultural undertone yet informed by a cosmopolitan perspective. Drawing on her personal experience of identity ambiguity and the erosion of complexity within the globalized context, she adopts “displacement” as a creative method, where the tactile translation of different cultural contexts endows her work with an extended, drifting visual character.
