赵宇
简介Biography
赵宇（Zhao Yu）1993年出生于云南，分别于2017年和2020年在四川美术学院油画系获得学士及硕士学位。其创作形式以绘画为主，常将画面建构成特定的空间场域，通过颜料的堆砌、重叠的图像及异样形态展开视觉实践，叙述对现实的观察与想象。他曾入选国内外多个绘画奖项及艺术家驻留项目，包括2018年荷兰阿姆斯特丹“记忆三角洲”青年艺术家驻留项目、2020年四川美术学院驻留项目等。获奖包括：2020年罗中立奖学金、研究生优秀毕业生、四川美术学院2020届学院奖；2019年教育部国家奖学金、繁星艺术计划最佳创意奖、“伊索帕拉艺术之星”二等奖；2018年首届重庆油画双年展一等奖、四川美术学院研究生年展优秀奖、“良好实践”学院本色造型艺术银奖；2017年学院本色赞助人特别奖、“伊索帕拉艺术之星”二等奖、四川美术学院2017届学院奖等。近期展览包括：2021年“新界面”PAC艺术中心（天津）、“弹出”四川美术学院青年艺术家驻留计划（重庆）、罗中立奖学金展（重庆）、“光鲜世界”时代美术馆（重庆）；2020年釜山青年艺术节（韩国）、“联结·丛生”海峡两岸艺术交流展（杭州）、毕业之星的选择（深圳）；2019年“BE-CAUSE OF PAINTING”首届之江国际青年艺术周（杭州）、“特别质感”杭州重庆两地青年艺术家交流展（重庆）、记忆三角洲荷兰国家社保银行SVB艺术中心（阿姆斯特丹）、东方来信Inter Youth国际青年绘画巡展（重庆）等。现工作生活于重庆。
Born in 1993, Yunnan, received MFA and BFA degrees in 2020 and in 2017 both at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, department of painting. He was nominated and awarded in the global and national honors, also selected into many residencies including the Young Artists Residency Program "The Delta of Memory" in 2018, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, SCFAI Museum Young Artist Residency 2020, Huatai Young Artist Residency Program, etc. Zhao Yu’s artistic practice explores the ambiguity and misinterpretation inherent in images and text, and their impact on human emotions and will. His recent works focus on the shaping and influence of external forces on objects within their environments.
