As one of the most representative post‑1980s painters in China, ZHOU SONG has been active on the international exhibition stage in recent years. His works have been shown at major institutions at home and abroad, including the Grand Palais in Paris, Sotheby’s in New York and Los Angeles, the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, the Castle of Cadaso in Florence, the Toronto Centre for the Arts, the University of Vienna, the Bonn Contemporary Art Museum, the YBL Creative Art Centre in Budapest, the Schacht Palace in Santiago, the Gran Teatro de La Habana Gallery in Havana, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Panama, the Inca Garcilaso Cultural Centre in Peru, the National Art Museum of China, and the Today Art Museum, and he has received significant art awards.
