The fruit, life's most tender paradox, is a careful nurturing that becomes an eventual sustenance. This cycle of nurture and consumption reflects our eternal questioning of identity, power, and faith: Of whom are we the fruit?

In the cyclical bond of nurturing protection and consuming restraint, the individual—
as "fruit"—faces an identity predicament. Ways out are often sought through resistance, reflection, or faith, yet answers tend to linger in a state of unresolved ambiguity. It is the gaze within painting that becomes a path through this haze. In the brushstrokes, this gaze offers a fleeting clarity to the chaotic inquiry. Perhaps all we can leave behind are the traces etched by the questioning itself—the contours of life, untouched as the glance passes. Ren Yichun
