ZHANG XIAOWEI, born in 1978 in Shenyang, graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Liaoning Normal University, and currently lives and works in Shanghai. His creative concepts are often presented through personal art projects and exhibitions. Important solo exhibitions include the 2015 “Pressure of Reading” personal art project (Kè Fáng Art Space, Shanghai), 2016 “Hill of Reconciliation” (Yitong Baitong E Space, Shanghai), and 2017 “White Smoke” (55 Gallery, Shanghai).
